HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, start to finish.

You tell us your state and your goal. We file it. You own every piece. We keep it compliant year-round. Here is exactly what happens at each stage, and what it costs.

Step 1 of 4

Tell us your state & goals

Start with the free game plan, or order directly if you already know what you want. Either way you get your exact total — our fee plus your state’s filing fee — before you pay anything.

What we ask

  • Which state you want to form in
  • What the business actually does
  • Whether you need an EIN
  • Whether you want registered agent service (provided through our partner Registered Agents Inc)
  • Whether anyone else is on the company
  • What you are trying to protect, if anything

Step 2 of 4

We file — you watch it live

Most states process online filings in 1–5 business days

We prepare and submit the filing to your state. Every document lands in your member dashboard as it is issued, so you are never waiting on an email to find out where things stand.

What you get back

  • Articles of organization, as filed
  • Your state-issued formation documents
  • EIN letter, if you ordered one
  • Registered agent details, if you use our partner Registered Agents Inc
  • Everything stored in your document vault
  • Compliance dates tracked from day one

Step 3 of 4

You own every piece

The company is yours outright. The documents are yours to keep. We are not holding anything hostage, and nothing here is a subscription to your own business — if you ever want to move your registered agent elsewhere, you can.

And from then on

  • Annual report reminders (filing is $120 + state fee)
  • Legal mail received and forwarded by our partner Registered Agents Inc
  • Business email, e-signatures, remote notary
  • Credit dispute center and resource library
  • A named person to call, not a ticket queue
  • Education, so you can run it yourself
100%yours, no lock-in
Step 4 of 4

Stay compliant, year-round

We send reminders for annual reports, franchise taxes and renewals so you can stay in good standing. If you want us to file an annual report, it’s $120 plus the state fee.

What we handle

  • Annual compliance reminders by state
  • Annual report filing ($120 + state fee)
  • Renewal deadline monitoring
  • Dissolution or amendment support
  • Ongoing compliance updates as laws change

Step 5 — the number

What it costs

No packages to decode. Your state sets its own filing fee, and we show you the combined total before you pay.

$123.75
LLC FORMATION

One time, plus your state’s filing fee. Any U.S. state.

$74.25/yr
REGISTERED AGENT

Optional. Use your own address instead if you prefer.

$198
TYPICAL FIRST YEAR

Formation and a full year of agent service, before state fees.

At checkout we add a card processing fee (2.9% + 30¢), and it shows in your total before you pay.

EIN, S-Corp election and the trust-owned privacy structure are priced up front too — see pricing.

Where trusts and asset protection fit

Not here, for most people. Forming the entity comes first — run it cleanly, keep the paperwork straight, and get some history behind you. Protection is what you do once there is something to protect.

When you are ready, we teach you how a private trust or foundation holds what you have built, and what it cannot do, before a single document is drafted. If you are not there yet, we will tell you.

Educational only — example documents for learning, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Work with your own licensed professionals.

What makes this different

Most founders rent their business — five vendors, five bills, no real ownership. Here, you own every piece.

One company, not five

Formation, registered agent, compliance, email, documents and the website all sit in one place, with one bill and one person to call.

You own it outright

The entity, the documents and the knowledge to run them are yours. You are not renting your own company back from us.

Not attorneys — and that is the point

Nobody here profits from managing your structure for you, so the advice you get is about what you need, not what bills.

Questions people ask

Do I need a lawyer to use this service?

No. We handle the formation and compliance work directly. We're not attorneys — and that's the point. Nobody here profits from managing your structure for you, so the advice you get is about what you need, not what bills.

What if my state rejects the filing?

If a filing is rejected because of an error on our end, we correct and resubmit it at no extra cost. If the rejection is due to something on your end — like a business name that's already taken in your state — a refiling fee may apply, and we'll tell you before doing any additional work.

Can I add a registered agent or EIN later instead of now?

Yes. Registered agent and EIN are both optional — you can add them later if you change your mind. The $123.75 formation fee gets you the LLC filing; agent and EIN are priced separately: $74.25/year for the agent, and $41.25 for the EIN with an SSN or $165 without one. The IRS itself charges nothing for an EIN.

Is there a subscription or ongoing fee I don't know about?

No. Formation is $123.75 one time plus your state’s fee. Registered agent service through our partner Registered Agents Inc is $74.25/year if you choose it, and compliance reminders are included. A card processing fee (2.9% + 30¢) is added at checkout and shown in your total before you pay. If you later want us to file an annual report, it’s $120 plus the state fee.

Do you handle trusts, or just LLCs?

We focus on LLC formation and compliance first. Trusts and asset protection come later, once you have a business up and running with a clean track record. We teach you when that moment is — it's different for everyone.
