Where each document lives
Trust packages are on My Documents, vault files are in Secure Document Storage, and formation documents are on their own page.
- My Documents holds your trust packages.
- Secure Document Storage is the vault. It is available once you have a paid Irrevocable Private Trust, 508(c)(1)(a) or 501(c)(3) package.
- Formation documents hold operating agreements and bylaws, after you finish the formation questionnaire.
You need to sign in to open any of these. Documents from other products are not stored in the vault.
Trust packages on My Documents
Each trust package shows as a "Document package" with a Download button for every file.
Open My Documents and select Download next to the file you want. If you have not bought a package yet, the page says "No trust packages yet."
When a package is still being prepared you get an email once it is ready. What happens after you place an order lists the emails.
Secure Document Storage
The vault stores your document package and any files you upload, and you can download the complete PDF or a ZIP of its sections.

From Secure Document Storage you can download the complete PDF, or a ZIP of the individual sections.
Upload your own files
You can upload .pdf, .zip, .doc, .docx, .png, .jpg and .jpeg files, up to 100 MB each. Every upload is scanned for malware.
Delete a file
You can delete files you uploaded yourself, but not files we put there. Deleted uploads stay in Trash for 30 days.
The vault needs a paid trust, 508(c)(1)(a) or 501(c)(3) package.
Formation documents
Your operating agreement and bylaws appear on the formation documents page after you finish the questionnaire.
When you order a formation, we email a link to a questionnaire if we need more information. Once you submit it, the documents are available at /formation-docs.
If you have not completed the questionnaire yet, look for the email titled "One more step to file ..." The steps are in What happens after you place an order.
Common questions
Why is Secure Document Storage empty?
The vault is tied to a paid Irrevocable Private Trust, 508(c)(1)(a) or 501(c)(3) package. Without one it has nothing to show. If you have a package and still see nothing, email admin@vermilionvitez.com.
Which file types can I upload?
PDF, ZIP, Word (.doc and .docx), and PNG and JPG images, up to 100 MB each. Each upload is scanned for malware.
How long do deleted files stay in Trash?
Deleted uploads stay in Trash for 30 days. For anything else about a deleted file, email admin@vermilionvitez.com.
